Section 8. Real-Time Monitoring and Control Software
Function Description
StartAtOffsetFromNewest Attempts to start processing with the record at
the specified offset back from the newest record
in the table.
StartAtRecord
Attempts to start processing at the specified file
mark and record number. If the specified record
cannot be located, it starts processing at the
oldest record in the source table.
StartAtTime
Attempts to start processing at the record that is
closest to the specified timestamp.
StartRelativeToNewest Attempts to start processing with the first record
whose timestamp is greater than or equal to the
newest record’s timestamp minus the specified
interval.
8.1.5.11 Functions with State
Function Description
AvgRun Returns a running average of up to the last
specified number of values.
AvgRunOverTime
Returns the running average of the specified
value over time.
AvgRunOverTimeWithReset
Returns the running average of the specified
value since the function was reset.
Last
Stores the specified value and returns the
previous value.
MaxRun
Returns the maximum of all values that it has
considered.
MaxRunOverTime
Returns the maximum of all values whose
timestamps are greater than the newest timestamp
minus the specified interval.
MaxRunOverTimeWithReset
Returns the maximum of all values since the
function was reset.
MedianRun
Returns the median value of up to the last
specified number of values.
MedianRunOverTime Returns the median value in the set of values
whose timestamps are greater than the newest
timestamp minus the specified interval.
